A Foundation with a Global Purpose
At Shekinah Foundation we are a non-profit institution with Christian principles, committed to the welfare of the most vulnerable communities around the world. Our work focuses on being a bridge of blessing, bringing hope, resources and accompaniment to those facing situations of extreme poverty, humanitarian crises and social exclusion.
We have a team of professionals and volunteers in different areas who work together to generate a positive impact on people’s lives. Through coordinated projects and international alliances, we seek to transform realities, strengthening families, promoting equity and building solid foundations for sustainable development. In every action, faith and love for our neighbor are the essence that moves us.
WORLD MISSIONS SHEKINAH FOUNDATION, CORPORATION, is an American non-profit Organization, of Christian principles and foundations that has been created for the development of plans, programs and projects of social care, as well as poverty and extreme poverty alleviation around the world; we form the Foundation, technical and professional people in various social, economic, pastoral disciplines, and human behavior and conduct, we are developing the areas of volunteering based on the well-being of families and communities around the world…
To carry out the work in a coordinated way, WM SHEKINAH, has Representatives on each Continent, who are delegates to establish the necessary contacts with local organizations, and the target groups that will be the direct beneficiaries of the projects to be carried out in each country; these are prepared in Executive Reports by each Representative, and evaluated at the Annual Meetings of the Evaluation Committees, for their due approval and execution; in this way, the Foundation identifies itself to the beneficiary families as an Institution for humanitarian crisis relief with Christian principles that promotes the practice and teachings of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to everyone who needs a hope of faith, life and salvation.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive support to families and communities facing conditions of vulnerability, poverty and marginalization in the world. We do this through programs and projects that cover areas such as education, health, food security, housing, psychosocial and spiritual care.
VISION
Our vision is to become a global reference organization in social and humanitarian aid, recognized for its Christian commitment and its ability to transform lives. We dream of a future in which every family can live with dignity, access to opportunities and renewed hope.

OBJECTIVES
Globally, the Foundation works to promote the well-being and the economic, social, spiritual and community improvement of families in developing countries, through the promotion of plans, programs, projects and work initiatives in coordination with organized groups, with social, private and public agents; in this way, we also promote and implement entrepreneurial initiatives that help to improve the quality of life of families and community groups, organized and vulnerable; in this way, we manage with our partners around the world, all kinds of means and resources that serve to support these initiatives through direct economic co-financing, and / or through twinning, strategic alliances or specific cooperation agreements; in this way, we focus the Foundation’s work efforts in coordination with Local Agents in the countries where work bases are established, around the world focusing on the areas of: Education, Vulnerability, Social Marginalization to High-Risk Groups, Exclusion, Behavioral, Social and Intrafamily Violence, Humanitarian Crisis, Food and Nutritional Security, Emerging Attention to Natural Disasters, Economic Entrepreneurship, Improvement of the Environment, Natural Habitats and Ecosystems, Employment/ Population Unemployment, Mental Health, Spiritual, and Psycho-social, and Support for Ecological Housing Projects of Social Interest, among others. The Foundation does all this through Twinning, Multilateral Cooperation Agreements, and Strategic Alliances established with Local and International Organizations, for the cooperation of emerging countries, through the plans, programs and projects that are implemented by the Foundation; finally, it is important to invest in knowledge and information, and for this, we promote International Scholarship programs with a world-renowned University, for the benefit of poor or low-income families, as well as the discovery of young talents in areas of: Social, Community, Economic Development, Nutritional Health, Culture, Medicine, among others, for the well-being and improvement of the quality of life of families and communities in the world.

Message from the President
We have established World Missions SHEKINAH Foundation Corporation in the United States of America as a non-profit organization, grounded in Christian principles and practices, fundamentally committed to the present and future of the generations inhabiting this world and forming the humanity of the New Century. The global population continues to grow rapidly; in 2023, there are approximately 7.9 billion people on the planet, of which, according to international population agencies, over 700 million people, or 10% of the world population, still live in poverty and extreme poverty, surviving on as little as US$1 per day. This situation makes it extremely difficult to meet basic needs such as health, education, food, access to clean water, and sanitation.
It is therefore urgent to provide immediate and innovative solutions directed toward the most disadvantaged and vulnerable families—those struggling daily and unable to meet even the minimum living conditions for their children. We must also raise awareness among all, especially governments responsible for the welfare and development of their populations, to safeguard human life, ensure the comprehensive security of individuals, families, and the most vulnerable groups—children, adolescents, youth, women, and the elderly—for their social benefit and economic inclusion. At the same time, we cannot neglect spiritual guidance and cultivation in new generations, so society can move forward with Christian principles and prevent further moral degradation. Humanity needs God.
In this regard, as a Foundation, together with our teams of specialists, partners, allies, friends, and representatives on each continent, we are committed every day to assisting high-risk social groups and improving their living conditions. We leverage the advances humanity has achieved in an increasingly globalized world, investing in poverty reduction, eradication of extreme poverty, combating child malnutrition, informal and formal education, and education in human, civic, and spiritual values that benefit all inhabitants of our shared planet. May present and future generations be marked by God’s love and by what He allows us to accomplish with His help. May the dreams of millions of children, adolescents, youth, women, and the elderly be realized through God’s favor, our work, and your participation and collaboration!
We face immense global challenges, many of which are also mentioned in the Bible. We are emerging from a great pandemic that affected and decimated the world population, testing the faith and solidarity of families everywhere. Today, we confront wars, famines, droughts, tsunamis, earthquakes, climate change, economic recessions, inflation, global financial crises, plagues, social injustices, political crises, energy shortages, international governance issues, and many other problems keeping populations in crisis, anxiety, and despair. These crises generate insensitivity, dehumanization, and lack of compassion, putting our faith, solidarity, fraternity, and humanity to the test.
It is urgent that we act and become part of the change the world and families need. I believe we can do it—but together. We have the capacity and commitment to rebuild the foundations of a new global family, for the sake of our children, so they are less vulnerable to the global crises and better prepared to face life’s challenges.

As a non-profit institution, we are passionate about the desire to serve as a bridge of blessing for the most disadvantaged, needy and vulnerable people in this world; for that, it is also our greatest desire to add every day, the wills of the people and institutions that work with us as agents of change, and partners in the well-being of families and communities that are waiting for a helping hand to get out of their current condition, and thus develop, the priority mission of supporting with «many grains of sand», in the security of life in the most needy nations in a coordinated, organized and intelligent way, training, training, orienting, organizing, executing and finally, evaluating, the results that are the ones that will mark the steps to follow in the hope that people will live in a better way, with more dignified, more just and more equitable conditions.
